AGC St. Louis Construction Awards

Posted on November 13, 2014

The Associated General Contractors Association of America (AGC) is the national trade organization of general contractors.  The local chapter, the AGC of Saint Louis, presents annual industry awards at an Awards Gala each fall.

They have a division of awards called the "Specialty Contractor of the Year Awards (SCOTY)" which are presented to contractors over eleven divisions such as Plumbing, Masonry, Concrete, Fire Protection, etc.  This year was the 4th year that the SCOTY awards were presented as part of the annual list of potential awards.  This particular award was created to recognize excellence among the specialty subcontracting trades.

One subcontractor is presented this award in each category, and Kaemmerlen Electric won in the Electrical discipline.  Kaemmerlen was formally presented the award and recognized at the annual Awards Gala which took place on November 13, 2014 at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in Saint Louis.

The voting judges are all general contractor members of the AGC Saint Louis, which is Kaemmerlen Electric's predominant client base.  Kaemmerlen amassed the highest number of votes as the best Electrical Contractor with the simple criteria listed below:

     1. The ability of the subcontractor to be an asset to meeting timelines and completion dates

     2. The ability of the subcontractor to be of value in meeting budgets

     3. The overall experience of working with the electrical subcontractor

Kaemmerlen is very proud to be the first time recipient of this annual SCOTY award.  It is a reflection of doing a great job of executing work and building relationships.
